Flights launch from the coastal cliffs above Sesimbra, 30 minutes south of Lisbon — one of the most scenic paragliding sites in Portugal. The view from altitude takes in the entire sweep of the Setúbal Peninsula, the turquoise water of the Arrábida coast, and the open Atlantic horizon. On a clear day it is extraordinary.

Private Transfer from Lisbon
Your driver collects you from your hotel or a central Lisbon meeting point. The drive to Sesimbra takes approximately 30 minutes along the A2 motorway, with the Atlantic coast coming into view as you approach. All logistics, including exact pick-up address and timing, are confirmed when your booking is finalised.
Meet Behrooz at the Launch Site
You arrive at the coastal launch above Sesimbra where Behrooz will be waiting. Take in the cliff views, let the children explore the area, and let the anticipation build. Behrooz greets every group personally and immediately puts everyone — including nervous first-timers — completely at ease.
Safety Briefing & Kit Fitting
Behrooz provides a clear, thorough briefing covering the wind conditions, the flight path, and the beach landing below. He personally fits every harness, checks all carabiners, and runs the full pre-flight safety check — the same rigorous procedure before every single flight, no exceptions. The briefing takes around 15 minutes and is adapted for all ages including children.
The Launch Above Sesimbra
A short forward run — five, maybe six steps — and the Atlantic wind lifts the wing and carries you off the cliff edge. The take-off is one of the smoothest in Portugal: a consistent headwind, a clean edge, and an immediate panorama of turquoise water below. The sensation is rising, not falling. Children who are nervous on the walk up are almost always laughing within seconds of leaving the ground.
Soaring Above the Atlantic Coastline
20, 40, or 60 minutes of coastal flight above one of the most beautiful stretches of the Portuguese Atlantic coast. Behrooz maintains radio contact throughout, adapts altitude and route to conditions, and narrates the landmarks below. GoPro photos and video capture your flight for you to keep — so you can relive the experience and share it with family and friends.
Beach Landing, Debrief & Drive Back to Lisbon
Behrooz brings you into a smooth, controlled landing on the sandy beach below. He walks you through the flight highlights, shares the GoPro footage, and answers every question. When the group is ready, your private vehicle returns you to Lisbon — usually back in the city by early afternoon, with plenty of the day still ahead.
Flights operate only when conditions are safe and suitable at the Sesimbra launch. Behrooz contacts you 24–48 hours before your scheduled flight to confirm weather suitability. If conditions are not right, you will be offered a free reschedule to the next available suitable day, or a full refund. No flight proceeds unless all parameters are within safe limits — conditions lead every decision.
Your Safety is the First and Only Priority
Paragliding with an expert in appropriate conditions is very safe — and Behrooz built his entire approach around a safety-first methodology that applies equally to competitive pilots and first-time family passengers. His protocols do not change based on the passenger's experience level.
Mandatory Pre-Flight Equipment Check
Before every single flight without exception, Behrooz performs a complete check of the tandem harness, all carabiners, the speed system, and the reserve parachute. This is not optional and is not abbreviated for experienced passengers or family groups. It is standard procedure, every time.
Radio Contact from Launch to Landing
Behrooz maintains continuous radio contact from take-off to landing, allowing real-time communication with ground support. You are never out of contact during the flight and any change in conditions can be responded to immediately. Non-flying family members can watch from the beach below.
Weather Assessment Before Every Flight
Behrooz reads conditions at the Sesimbra launch before each session — wind strength, direction, thermal activity, and site-specific hazard zones. Flights proceed only when all parameters are within safe limits. There is no ambiguity: conditions lead every decision. No flight is ever rushed or squeezed around a schedule.
